What are the meanings to the following Latin phrases:

  1. aut viam inveniam aut faciam  - I will either find a way or make one.

  2. adde parvum parvo magnus acervus erit (Ovid) - Add a little to a little and there will be a great heap.

  3. de gustibus non est disputandum - In matters of taste, there is no argument.

  4. non omnis moriar (Horace, Odes) - Not all of me shall die.

  5. crede quod habes, et habes - Believe that you have it, and you do.

  6. caveat actor - Let the doer beware

  7. caveat venditor - Let the seller beware

  8. caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware

  9. cave canem - Beware of the dog

  10. caveat viator - Let the traveller beware

  11. errare humanum est - To err is human

  12. facta non verba - Deeds, not words (Actions speak louder than words)

  13. fallaces sunt rerum species - The appearances of things are deceptive.

  14. in vino veritas - There is truth in wine (truth is told by him who has drunk wine)

  15. multum in parvo - Much in little

  16. mens sana in corpore sano - A sound mind in a sound body

  17. mutantur omnia nos et mutamur in illis - All things change, and we change with them.

  18. memento mori - Remember that you will die

  19. legum servi sumus ut liberi esse possimus - We are slaves of the law in order that we may be able to be free.

  20. minima maxima sunt - The smallest things are most important.
